Rotary House is now accepting your ticket contributions for the "Donate Your Tickets" Program. Donate your sports, concert, ballet, theater, show or other tickets that might otherwise go unused to the Rotary House so that they may be offered to patients and their families who come to Houston for cancer treatment at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Your generosity is greatly appreciated! Fresh Start Committee - Mentoring Program Volunteers needed at various State Prisons in the Houston area. Volunteers spend approximately an hour with a group of inmates who are participating in a life skills class as they prepare for their release from prison. The purpose of the program is to enegage the inmates in discussions that may help them in becoming productive citizens. For details and further information, contact George Elam.

Fresh Start Committee - Volunteers are needed to conduct "mock" job interviews with clients of Career and Recovery Resources. Guidelines are provided so any Rotarian can perform this vital service. We attempt to provide feedback and experience that will help the person be more effective during the real job interview process. "Mock" interviews are held every 2nd Wednesday of the month beginning April 11, 2007 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Contact George Elam.

Rotaract
The goal of this group is to bring together young individuals who want to make a difference and support the Rotary vision of community leadership, service and allegiance to the four-way test. It is intended to appeal to individuals in the 22-30 age range who are not yet ready to make a full-time commitment to membership in the Rotary Club of Houston.
