Mexico remains one of the United States' closest and most valued partners, with a 2,000-mile shared border containing 47 active land ports of entry, and a shared history of over 200 years of diplomatic relations. More  than 80 percent of its exports go  to the U.S. and more than 40 percent of its imports come from the U.S. Estimates of economic benefit to the U.S? Nearly one trillion dollars in gross domestic products annually, more than 8 million jobs  generated in the U.S., much of it in Texas.

Yet, under Trump 2.0, the countries are on the brink of an all-out trade war and a tumultuous four years ahead. Can the two countries work together on shared goals for migration, drug trafficking, tariffs, productive diplomatic relations and the growing China economic threat?

The Rotary club of Houston is proud to present Dr. Tony Payan, Rice University, Baker Institute Director of The Center for the U.S. and Mexico, in conversation with Rotary's own, Charles Foster, prominent Immigration Attorney.

Please invite your friends to this very important meeting.
