Granville Betton joined Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center as Vice President of Operations in February 2015. He oversees the areas of Donor Collections, Product Management, Client Services, Donor Recruitment, Regional Operations and the Commit for Life Program.

Mr. Betton has 30 years of experience in operations, manufacturing, quality and process improvement and has successfully guided teams across multiple locations, driven revenue growth and ensured excellence in service delivery.

After graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, he accepted a position as an engineer with DuPont before then joining GE.  Over the course of his 17 years with GE, he held positions of increasing complexity and responsibility, eventually becoming General Manager, Global Quality and Environmental Health and Safety for GE Healthcare Services. From GE he joined Momentive Specialty Chemicals, Inc. in upstate New York.  He was subsequently recruited to Houston and worked at Nexeo Solutions, a chemical and plastics distribution company, and InterWrap, Inc., a manufacturer of innovative woven products headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, before joining Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center.
