Thursday's program marks a homecoming for one of Rotary Club of Houston's former Presidents, Steve Lufburrow, President and CEO of Goodwill Industries. In 1987 Steve succeeded his father, Dr. Bill Lufburrow (also a RCoH Past President), as President of Goodwill following Bill's untimely death. Goodwill Industries of Houston was formed at a Rotary Club meeting in 1945 through the vision of W.C. Morris, Sr. and our Club.

Under Steve's guidance Goodwill has become one of Houston's largest employers with many programs designed to help those with a barrier to employment. We welcome back to Rotary, our favorite son, Steve Lufburrow, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Goodwill Industries in Houston, Texas, and Steve's nearly 33 years of service to Goodwill Industries and the citizens of Houston
